A cancellation NICOP certificate is a registration paperwork used to record the termination of an ID card in case of a citizen’s death. Any blood relative with a valid NIC/NICOP, a death certificate from the union council, and the deceased family member’s graveyard certificate may apply for the cancellation NICOP. The deceased’s original ID card is destroyed at NRC to ensure that it cannot be misused. To apply for a cancellation certificate, the applicant does not need to visit any NADRA Registration Center (NRC). It is possible to do it online.

If you are living in country in which NADRA Card is not allowed and you have now nationality of this country, you can cancel you NADRA Card and can apply for POC.
